Uppdrag: Krögaren Björn Frantzén driver inte bara Sveriges enda trestjärniga krog med Resturang Frantzén, utan också ett gäng andra etablissemang över hela världen. Jag har haft förmånen att hjälpa Frantzéngruppen under många år med koncepttexter, pressreleaser, produkttexter, SoMe, webbcopy och översättningar. Mina uppdrag har varit allt från copy kring öppningen och etableringen av flertalet restauranger, till menytexter och biografiska texter om Björn Frantzén. Allt på både svenska och engelska.

This is Frantzén Group

The Frantzén Group has established a collection of award-winning restaurants and bars both nationally and internationally as well as initiated several projects to support quality assurance in the food industry throughout Sweden. The group has a total of 6 stars in Guide Michelin, with premium experience Frantzén and Zén awarded with three Michelin stars.

The Frantzén Group works holistically to ensure the high demands in quality of all restaurants – from recruitment and service to what’s on the menu. The strong quality assurance is key for an international top consistent standard wherever and however you interact with us. Our values and identity should permeate your dining experience and provide a memorable setting and serving, whether it’s in Stockholm or on the other side of the globe.

In Sweden, the Group includes three establishments within the upscale department store NK (Nordiska Kompaniet) in the heart of downtown Stockholm. Here you can explore Bobergs Matsal, Botanique and Nordiska Kantinen. In 2020 the group opened a power brasserie in the classic former theatre Astoria on Nybrogatan, Östermalm in Stockholm.

 INTERNATIONAL

The Frantzén Group is a collection of restaurants, bars, and gastronomic experiences by Björn Frantzén, established in Sweden and internationally. The Group has a total of 6 Michelin stars with 3-star Restaurant Frantzén, ranked no 30 on the 50 Best Restaurants list, and 3-star Zén in Singapore. During 2023, the collection expands further with Björn Frantzén Shanghai, FZN Dubai, Studio Frantzén Dubai and Brasserie Astoria Singapore. 

From steak to stars

Chef Björn Frantzén has transitioned Frantzén Group from the drawing table to Guide Michelin in just a few years time.

Born in 1977, his passion for food began with a particularly delicious steak. To this day, Björn remember that one steak, served with french fries and béarnaise sauce as his first culinary memory which would inspire him to a career in the restaurant industry decades later. He eventually started his journey in gastronomy as an intern with Chef Christer Lingström at Edsbacka Krog.

Björn is passionate about constantly developing his skills and to become one of the very best. This passion would take him to other top restaurants, such as Chez Nico’s at 90 Park Lane (Nico Ladenis, UK, three Michelin stars) and Restaurant L’Arpege (Alain Passard, Paris, three Michelin stars).

Aside from his passion for cooking, Björn has always been very engaged in charity. Every year Björn hosts a dinner event featuring a handfull of Europe’s most renowned chefs, all to benefit the The Swedish Child Diabetes Foundation.
